Privacy & Terms
Last updated: October 27, 2026
The short version
- We only collect what you send us, mainly through the quote form or by email.
- We use it to answer you, prepare your quote and plan your event. Nothing else.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to mailing lists without asking.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
- A quote is not a booking. Your event is confirmed only by a signed agreement.
Privacy Policy
Drum Cafe Canada ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through drumcafe.ca and our other channels, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect the details you enter in the form: company name, contact name, email, phone number (optional), province, city, event date, number of attendees, whether you've worked with us before, and your message.
When you email us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically keeps basic technical records, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, not to identify you.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
- To plan, confirm and deliver your event, including preparing an agreement and invoice.
- To follow up about your event, or a future one if you've worked with us before.
- To keep business records we're required to keep, for example for tax purposes.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We won't send you marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who helps us handle it
We use a few trusted service providers to run the website and our communications. They only process your information to provide their service to us:
- Google (Google Forms and Gmail) receives and stores quote requests and email.
- Hawk Host hosts this website and our drumcafe.ca email accounts.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies at this time. The site may set essential cookies needed for security and for the site to work properly. If we add website analytics in the future, we'll update this policy first.
Photos and video at events
We sometimes photograph or film our sessions to show what Drum Cafe events look like. If you'd prefer we don't, just tell us when you book. We don't publish identifiable photos of children without permission.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for your inquiry or event, and for the business records we're legally required to keep. After that, we delete it.
How we protect it
We use secure, password-protected accounts with our service providers, and access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you or deliver your event. No online system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that's inaccurate;
- delete your information, unless we're required to keep it;
- stop contacting you.
Email us at info@drumcafe.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of drumcafe.ca. By using the site, you agree to them.
About the information on this site
We do our best to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date, but it's provided for general information. Program details, availability and formats can change. Please confirm anything important with us directly.
Quotes and bookings
Requesting a quote doesn't create a booking or any obligation for you or for us. A quote is an estimate based on the details you give us. Your event is confirmed only when we've both agreed in writing and signed a booking agreement. That agreement, including its payment and cancellation terms, is what governs your event.
Our content
The text, logos, photos, videos and design on this site belong to Drum Cafe or are used with permission. Please don't copy, reuse or republish them without our written consent. You're welcome to link to any page on our site.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites and services, such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Drum Cafe Canada isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on information on it. This doesn't limit any rights you have under a signed booking agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
