Meg has been studying and playing African drums since 2010 and joined Drum Cafe Winnipeg in 2015. Music has always been a significant part of her life: she has studied piano and trumpet and has sung in multiple choirs. She discovered a love for drumming while completing her education degree, while learning about incorporating music into the classroom. Meg is currently working with newcomers to Canada and works hard to build communities where everyone’s stories can be heard.
